Tottenham Hotspur Football Club chose Tarkett Sports PlayMaster hybrid turf system in order to create a playing surface offering the highest in performance, durability and flexibility. The surface was first tested at its training ground prior to installation at its main stadium. This builds on a 20-year partnership with Tarkett Sports, which has seen more than 100,000m2 of its advanced hybrid turf Grassmaster and PlayMaster fields installed for the iconic club, including at its world class training facility for up and coming young players.

The carpet-based PlayMaster hybrid grass technology is rapidly installed and offers instant playability, along with Tarkett Sports’ trademark natural grass feel. Grown at a turf farm in England, the PlayMaster turf for Tottenham’s stadium is installed every summer ahead of the Premier League football season. Its inherent flexibility enables the club to move the field under the stand in order to host other sporting events and concerts in the stadium.
